Have you ever met someone who you don’t really remember being introduced to? That’s the way it was when I met Scott of Serenity + Scott Beauty while shooting a commercial in Asheville, North Carolina a couple of weeks ago. I wasn’t looking at Scott but the man Scott was conversing with. The man’s eyes were sunken and pathetic, and he looked like he had both feet and one hand in the grave. It took me a couple of seconds to realize that this was Scott’s handiwork. The guy was an actor and Scott had done a great job making him look his part. Scott had also finished putting his magic touch on a beautiful young actress I had worked with the previous year. She looked absolutely gorgeous.
There was no ice to break with Scott. He was pleasant and down to earth and we hit it off right away. His finished product of me for the project was amazing–even though he had to touch up my eyes a couple of times because he had me laughing SO hard. My husband was quite pleased with the end result.
Getting my make up done is usually a big hesitation when I go on set because some products cause my skin to itch. The Serenity + Scott makeup did not do that. The Serenity + Scott makeup line is gluten free and paraben free and is made from all natural ingredients. I loved the way it made my skin feel and the good news is that it felt and looked very natural. I didn’t want to wash my face that night.
Fortunately for me, there was a Serenity + Scott store in downtown Asheville at the Grove so I quickly made my way over to purchase the great items Scott had used the previous night. At the store, Serenity helped me put together a nice selection of makeup and tools. My husband also benefited from our trip to Serenity + Scott.
The line does offer beauty solutions for both men and women. Guys, if you work outdoors or are on set under heavy studio lights a lot, visit a store near you or call and get advise on which products will best work for you.
