January 2016 went by rather quietly for me. Besides spending the first two weeks hard at work in cold Chicago, I have been trying to plan out the first few months of 2016.
I used to get hyped up with the New Year and make several New Year resolutions (lose 30 pounds, smile everyday no matter what, #writeeveryday, #publishabookaweek). Really? I soon discovered that those resolutions made me feel real good, but if you do not plan and set goals, New Year resolutions set you up for failure and become nothing more than thoughts to make you feel all fuzzy and warm at the start of the year.
The first order of business is completing and publishing the project, Bugs on Toast: The Art & Science of Entomophagy. I’m very thankful to have Sky and Anette on the team and we look forward to having the book done sometime in March/April.
We had extremely wonderful talents for the book and I cannot wait to show them what splendid work they did in helping bringing this project to fruition.
Stay tuned for more and as always,
Be Blessed,
