Even though I couldn’t help what happened to me, I hate setbacks. I seriously apologize for the delay in posting. I recently moved from “unemployed” to “employed” status and had to travel to Chicago for orientation. While there, I hurt my neck because the hotel I was staying in only had one style pillows, which were like 3-4 inches thick–very soft and fluffy, but not conducive to a good night’s sleep. I woke up about 4 a.m. in terrible pain. I called the desk in tears, only to hear that they only carry one style of pillows.
This was the sort of pain that makes a grown woman cry. And it takes immense pain for me to cry because I have a high tolerance to pain. I’ve had dental work done without anesthesia. I’ve woke up in the middle of a surgery and felt every stitch and just clenched my toes, grinned and bore the pain. Needless to say, I switched hotels for the remainder of my stay. (Let it go down on record to say that I do forgive the hotel because their fried cheesecake was out of this world). So I returned to NC in a neck brace and a lot of pain. The only thing that seemed to help was applying cold compress and taking Ibuprofen.
So my friends, I have not abandoned you or my blog or my projects. I’m still working on getting the interior pages to pass through CreateSpace. The good news is that my test through the Interior Reviewer came back with ONLY 2 errors on image resolution and the fonts needing to be embedded.
I have so much to share in the next few blogs about my trials with using MS Word to get approval of my interior pages and what I’m doing to resolve things. So, please stay tuned. I simply wanted to let you know that I’ve been a little out of commission but still on track.
